I paint abstract art with acrylics on canvas. I grew up in Illinois, spent most of my adult life in New York and New Jersey, and moved to Nashville, TN in 2021. I have loved design since I was a young girl, starting with an interest in interior design and architecture. When I was around 9 years old, I spent hours drawing floor plans for residential homes. I first became interested in painting in 2012 while at an art exhibit in New Jersey. I started painting in 2020. My beginnings are in fluid art, and grew into traditional abstract art. I am self-taught. My inspiration comes from colors, flowers and landscapes. I tune in to my own creative process while releasing attachment to meaning, control, or final product. This allows me to explore, try new things, be playful and have fun. I aspire to bring joy to others through my art.
